Gurukul

Gurukul is a traditional method of teaching that has been practiced in India for centuries. The word “gurukul” literally means “home of the guru,” and it refers to a type of school where students live and study with their teacher in a residential setting. 

The word Education comes from Educary which means to bring out something good within you. 

Unfortunately todays educational system is bereft of spirituality. Hence the Social, emotional,  spiritual quotient of kids has drastically reduced and we find so many psychological problems with the kids. The current generation of the kids is the one who will lead our society , country and represent our culture.  

So its very important to connect our educational system with spirituality.   

In the Gurukula , kids are taught Bhagavad Gita, Ramayan, Puranas, Vedanta, etc and vedic sciences like Vedic Mathematics,  Astrology,  Astronomy,  Cosmology ,  

 And our Gurukula is very special since its in the close vicinity with Ayurvedic Hospital,  kids get chance to learn Ayurveda from the very beginning of their life and if they choose to they can become very good Ayurvedacharya in the future.  

 Kids are taught to become self dependent – like they should know how to wash their clothes,  how to cook, how to grow vegeatbles etc.  

 Farming and goshala management is a part of their curriculum.  

 All kinds of sports like Archery, Wrestling,  Yogasanas, Kalari Pattu, Kung fu etc 

In this Gurukula we dont charge a particular amount of fees but we accept a donation of whatever amount  parents happily give to us. The accommodation and food is provided by the Foundation.
